Notes
'Parfianka' pomegranate (Punica granatum 'Parfianka') is a shrub for containers, fruit, and ornamental plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It is grown for juicing and fresh eating, and the seeds are small and edible. The orange-red blooms give a subtropical look. This shrub grows up to 10 feet, but you can keep it smaller by pruning.
Pairs well with Gypsy rose, Fountain grass, and Wallflower.
