Notes
'Wonderful' pomegranate (Punica granatum 'Wonderful') is a shrub for food gardens, borders, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is grown for large, tasty fruit that is prized for juice. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Pruning keeps this multi-stemmed shrub smaller than its 10 foot height.
Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Loquat, and Mondo grass.
