Notes
'Eversweet' pomegranate (Punica granatum 'Eversweet') is a shrub grown for sweet fresh fruit and ornamental flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The fruit is virtually seedless, and even immature fruit taste sweet. This multi-stemmed deciduous shrub can reach 10 feet, but pruning keeps it smaller. The orange-red blooms give it a subtropical look.
Pairs well with Western redbud, Gypsy rose, Mondo grass, and Tuberose.
