Notes

'Paris' iris (Iris 'Paris') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Violet-blue flowers open in spring and summer on stems about 39 inches tall. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The blue flags have darker veins and a yellow blotch.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Nelly Moser clematis, and Briar rose.
