Notes

'Pastel Splendor' peony (Paeonia 'Pastel Splendor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, pale lavender blooms shade to cream in the center and show dark purple flares. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Little Beauty tulip, and Dittany.
