Notes

'Paul Bunyan' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Paul Bunyan') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double blooms are an unfading deep flame pink. Its big outer petals help the flowers hold their form for days after they open.

Pairs well with Ostrich fern, Picture tulip, Compass plant, and Christmas fern.
