Notes
'Pauline Marois' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Pauline Marois') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single pink flowers have three rows of rounded guard petals held cupped around a small center of stamens. They have a pleasant fragrance. Straight stems reach 48 inches (120 cm) tall and support the blooms well.
Pairs well with Spiked speedwell, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Carlton daffodil, and Spotted dead nettle.
