Notes

'Peachy Cheeks' red-hot poker (Kniphofia 'Peachy Cheeks') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Cream flowers blushed with peach open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn, drawing hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The plant tolerates salt and stays evergreen.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Fountain grass, and African marigold.
