Notes
'Perle Brillante' Spanish bluebell (Hyacinthoides hispanica 'Perle Brillante') is a bulb for borders, containers, woodland gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The lavender blue flowers have darker midribs and open from early to late spring. It forms a clump, grows fast, and tolerates drought. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Cheerfulness daffodil, Big Daddy hosta, Sensitive fern, and Picture tulip.
