Notes

'Persian Slippers' lupine (Lupinus 'Persian Slippers') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The dusty blue and white flowers appear from early to late summer and attract bees. Lupines go semi-dormant after blooming, so plant it behind something one foot tall. Cut it back six inches after flowering to encourage new growth and reblooming.

Pairs well with Blush peony, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Picture tulip, and Sensitive fern.
