Notes

'Phoebe' Lenten rose (Helleborus hybridus 'Phoebe') is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is evergreen and blooms from winter into spring. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. You can tuck it under trees for easy color.

Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Siberian bugloss, Caramel coral bells, and Thalia daffodil.
