Notes
Pink cobra lily (Arisaema fargesii) is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland gardens, and foliage interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun and moist soil. Giant, glossy green leaves emerge in late spring. They are followed by wine-red flowers with white stripes and a long, thread-like whip at the tip. In colder climates you can grow it in pots and protect it in winter.
Pairs well with Elegans hosta, Autumn fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Chinese ground orchid.
