Notes
'Pink Diamond' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Pink Diamond') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The fragrant blue-pink flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. It is drought tolerant and forms a clump.
Pairs well with Carnaval De Nice tulip, Dancing Queen hosta, and Raspberry Sundae peony.
