Notes

'Pink Fizz' carnation (Dianthus 'Pink Fizz') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies and bees visit the fragrant flowers. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The evergreen leaves keep the plant tidy through the year.

Pairs well with Deep Blue Clips tussock bellflower, Early Sunrise largeflower tickseed, Lavender, and Blue fescue.
