Notes

'Pink Princess' weigela (Weigela Florida 'Pink Princess') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Lilac-pink flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It is also salt tolerant.

Pairs well with Jane magnolia, Christmas fern, Blue fescue, and Arabella clematis.
