Notes

'Pink Royal' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Pink Royal') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The double flowers are tyrian purple with phlox pink edges. They are fragrant and open from early to late spring, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, Coralbells, and Black Parrot tulip.
