Notes

'Pink Star' Greek thimbleweed (Anemone blanda 'Pink Star') is a bulb for woodland gardens, rock gardens, ground cover, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The glowing lavender-pink flowers have white centers and open in early to late spring. Bees and butterflies visit them. Plant it under deciduous trees, because it goes dormant in summer.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Paris coral bells.
