Notes

'Radar' Greek thimbleweed (Anemone blanda 'Radar') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, ground cover, and woodland gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Magenta flowers with white petal bases open above dissected foliage in early to late spring. Bees and butterflies visit them. Tubergen bred it, and it goes dormant in summer.

Pairs well with Golden Tiara hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Paris coral bells.
