Notes

'Ingramii' Greek thimbleweed (Anemone blanda 'Ingramii') is a bulb for rock gardens, woodland gardens, and borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The clear violet flowers have purple backs and open in early to late spring. Bees and butterflies visit them. E.A. Bowles bred it.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Green and gold, and Lily of the valley.
