Notes

'Pixie' clematis (Clematis forsteri 'Pixie') is a vine for containers, borders, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The yellow-green flowers are fragrant, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. Graham Hutchins bred it.

Pairs well with Carolina jessamine, Green and gold, and Beautyberry.
