Notes
'Plumosa' creeping juniper (Juniperus horizontalis 'Plumosa') is a shrub for rock gardens and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy soil. This evergreen grows at a moderate rate and spreads 8 feet wide or more, so give it room. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Matrona october daphne, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
