Notes

'Primavera' Japanese witch hazel (Hamamelis intermedia 'Primavera') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The yellow flowers are fragrant and open in winter and early spring. The leaves turn a bright color in fall. It grows about 12 to 15 feet tall and wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Common snowdrop, Springwood White tree heath, and Snow crocus.
