Notes

'Princess Alice' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Princess Alice') is a shrub for borders, woodland gardens, shade gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It stays evergreen and bears fragrant blooms from early to late spring. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Wood anemone, and Excelsior Spanish bluebell.
