Notes

'Queen of Hearts' dianthus (Dianthus 'Queen of Hearts') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and the fragrant flowers draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Baby's breath.
