Notes

'Rajah' iris (Iris 'Rajah') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and the flowers are fragrant. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Lupine, Beauty of Livermere oriental poppy, and Album nettle-leaved mullein.
