Notes

'Raspberry Splash' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Raspberry Splash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant cherry-red blooms open in early to mid season on stems about 30 inches tall. Each stem carries one bud, and the petals are fluted. Roy G. Klehm bred it, and the foliage stays deep green.

Pairs well with Blazing star, Incrediball hydrangea, Ostrich fern, and Sedge.
