Notes

'Razor Russet' apple (Malus domestica 'Razor Russet') is a tree for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The University of Kentucky bred it in the 1970s. It is grown for fresh eating and cooking, and you need a second apple nearby because it is not self-fertile.

Pairs well with Blazing star, Toad lily, and Ostrich fern.
