Notes

'Red Cherry' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Red Cherry') is an annual for borders, containers, and accents. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a low, clumping mound with fragrant blooms in brown, copper, yellow, orange, and red. Butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Globe amaranth, Double Click Snow Puff cosmos, and Red fescue.
