Notes

Rhododendron (Rhododendron edgeworthii) is a shrub for woodland gardens, containers, and fragrant borders. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun. Rose-colored buds open in late spring to fragrant white flowers tinged with pink. The glossy leaves have indented veins, and the bark peels. Treat it like an orchid and plant it in coarse organic and mineral materials for good drainage.

Pairs well with White bigleaf hydrangea, Western hemlock, Mondo grass, and Cobra lily.
