rhododendron

Notes

Rhododendron (Rhododendron praestans) is a shrub for woodland gardens, shade borders, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist soil. White to creamy-pink flowers open in early to late spring above long leaves with a silvery or fawn underside. Give it shelter from wind to prevent leaf damage, and enjoy its slow growth in small gardens.

Pairs well with Bluebell, Cobra lily, and Snake's head.
