rhododendron

Notes

Rhododendron (Rhododendron wardii) is a shrub. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun. Soft yellow flowers open from early to late spring, sometimes with a red blotch in the throat. The new growth looks bluish and mellows to dark green on small leaves. It forms a nice mound and can bloom at a young age.

Pairs well with Blueberry, Snowdrop, and Cobra lily.
