Notes

Riverbank lupine (Lupinus rivularis) is an annual for low maintenance gardens. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It grows 12 to 59 inches tall with a subshrub habit. Purple flowers are fragrant and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It adapts to acid, alkaline, or neutral soil.
