Notes
'Robusta Green' Chinese juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Robusta Green') is a tree for specimen planting, hedges, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. This evergreen has a conical shape and is both drought tolerant and salt tolerant. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows at a moderate rate and needs little care.
Pairs well with Ruby Spice sweet pepperbush, Poppy mallow, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
