Notes

'Roford' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Roford') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Tall spires of salmon flowers with orange anthers open from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with David garden phlox, Little bluestem, Casa Blanca lily, and Feather reed grass.
