Notes
'Rooguchi' solitary clematis (Clematis integrifolia 'Rooguchi') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Plum-purple flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Little bluestem, and David garden phlox.
