Notes
'Durandii' solitary clematis (Clematis integrifolia 'Durandii') is a vine for cut flowers and for growing through small shrubs. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its indigo-blue flowers are 4 to 5 inches wide and can bloom from June to September. The stems do not cling, so grow it through a small shrub or attach it to a support.
Pairs well with Panicle hydrangea, Gardenia peony, and Garlic chives.
