Notes
'Rose' Spanish bluebell (Hyacinthoides hispanica 'Rose') is a bulb for borders, woodland gardens, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late spring, and the violet pink flowers form on large spikes.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Western sword fern.
