Notes

'Royal Hawaiian 'Aloha' taro (Colocasia esculenta 'Royal Hawaiian 'Aloha') is a perennial for specimen plantings, accents, and rain gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound 36 to 48 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Pitcher plant, Mondo grass, and Society garlic.
