Notes

'Royal Snowcap' iris (Iris 'Royal Snowcap') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Columbine, Silver Parrot tulip, and Little Hottie panicle hydrangea.
