Notes

'Ruby Charm' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Ruby Charm') is a perennial for pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil. Red flowers open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. You can plant it near a pond or low spot where the soil stays damp.

Pairs well with Joe Pye weed, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Royal fern.
