Notes

'Safari Scarlet' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Safari Scarlet') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its fragrant blooms mix orange, red, yellow, and copper and draw butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Plants stay compact and clumping.

Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Cornflower, and Cosmos.
