Notes

'Sea Power' iris (Iris 'Sea Power') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is fragrant, drought tolerant, and attracts butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It blooms in spring and again in summer, so you get flowers twice.

Pairs well with Columbine, Album nettle-leaved mullein, and Black Parrot tulip.
