Notes
'Sea Shell' peony (Paeonia 'Sea Shell') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant, iridescent shell pink blooms attract butterflies and bees. Hans Peter Sass bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Clustered bellflower, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
