Notes

'Sensation Rose' sage (Salvia nemorosa 'Sensation Rose') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy soil. Its lavender-pink flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees, and they bloom in late spring, summer, and autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumping plants are fragrant and tolerate drought.

Pairs well with Jeana garden phlox, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Black Parrot tulip, and Limelight hydrangea.
