Notes

'Sherwood Frost' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Sherwood Frost') is a tree for hedges, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows slowly into a dense, fragrant evergreen that reaches 6 to 10 feet tall, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Globosa Colorado spruce, Pearly everlasting, Old Rose Dandy peony, and Red fescue.
