Notes

'Sister Margaret' peony (Paeonia 'Sister Margaret') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Large white double blooms are fragrant and last well in a vase. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Dr. Herbert C. Cooper bred it, and Gilbert H. Wild and Son introduced it in 1953.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Phantom panicle hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Liberty hosta.
