Notes
'Smhpmwmh' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Smhpmwmh') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, specimen plantings, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its white-green blooms mature to light pink and attract bees. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast into an arching shrub that reaches 48 to 60 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, Big Daddy hosta, Western sword fern, and Eastern columbine.
