Notes

'Smiling Twins' peony (Paeonia 'Smiling Twins') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring with light yellow flowers and orange-red flares. Butterflies visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Weigela, Grape hyacinth, Christmas fern, and Toad lily.
