Notes

'Soir de Paris' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Soir de Paris') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The fragrant, pale pink flowers open from early to late spring and into early summer, and hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The evergreen leaves keep the shrub full all year.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Autumn fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Fringed bleeding heart.
