Notes
'Souvenir de Ingo Schiewe' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Souvenir de Ingo Schiewe') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are about 6 inches wide and open clear lavender with purple flares at the base of the petals. It grows wider than tall, so give it room to spread. Stephan Tetzlaff selected it from a botanical garden collection.
Pairs well with Wild geranium, Sedge, and Greig's tulip.
